Don’t do anything stupid if you get this fraudulent e-mail.

The Land Bank of the Philippines has issued yet another warning to its account owners, this time to alert them about a new strategy of fraudsters.

The new scheme involves an alarming notice on email that the recipient’s Landbank account has been “locked,” and that he or she has to click a link and provide some personal information to regain access.

Whatever you do — don’t click!,” the government bank said.

That email or text could contain a phishing software that may steal sensitive data, your personal information such as banking or credit card details, and online passwords.”

Landbank added that they would never ask for sensitive data via email.
