Mark Lopez, University of Sto. Tomas alumnus, blasts politicians of opposition by accusing them of supplying damaging information about President Rodrigo Duterte and the administration in general to international news agencies such as the BBC, New York Times, The Reuters and CNN.

Lopez, through a Facebook post in his social media account, initially showed his dismay over the comments made United States politicians and celebrities’ against the Duterte administration through calling out his allegedly Human Rights Violation.

Clearly these famous people are so ignorant and so fully misinformed yet their assertive manner and tone of postings indicate their strong conviction that our country is being led by a “murderous dictator.”” Lopez said.

However, he shifted the blame to local officials and local media because according to him these celebrities are only uninformed because the source of the news agencies they access information to are bias because it comes from opposition politicians and the local media companies.

“Of course from our very own set of public officials like Leni Robredo, Senators Antonio Trillanes, Risa Hontiveros, Bam Aquino, Kiko Pangilinan, Franklin Drilon and the jailed Leila de Lima. There are also our very own media entities like ABS CBN, Philippine Daily Inquirer and Rappler, which are the sources or feeders of their international counterparts.” Lopez said.

He further said that “Therefore, our collective rage should really be with Leni and company and cohorts. They who continue to propagate the lies they conveniently label as “EJKs” [Extra-Judicial Killings) and how they portray our duly elected president as a dictator.”

Lopez blasts opposition politicians and label them as traitors to the nation by accusing them of destabilizing the country because according to Lopez, these traitors “have completely sold out our country and utterly destroyed its image in the eyes of the international community.

He then defended the actions of pro-duterte blogger, Sass Rogando Sassot for supposedly fighting the “propaganda” of the international media.

The article ended with calling out opposition politicians as people who have committed treason.
