Trillanes hits back at Imee Marcos: If she is saying I’m a bad person, that’s hypocrisy

On Tuesday, Senator Antonio Trillanes IV responds to Senator-elect Imee Marcos to conduct a ritual on the workplace that Trillanes would soon vacate.

If the religious ritual is meant to help her fulfill her mandate as a newly elected senator, then that's a good thing,” Trillanes said in a press statement.

Trillanes, however, said he would take exception if Marcos was insinuating that she was trying to rid the room of evil.

But if she's saying it to insinuate na masama akong tao, then sobrang ka ipokritohan naman yun, even for a Marcos,” he added.

Earlier, Marcos said she would ask the Igorots to dance at Trillanes’ room being the last room available to the three other neophytes.

Siguro magpapatawag ako ng mga Igorot namin dahil kailangan basbasan ang office ko dahil kay Senator Trillanes yata ang nabunot,” Marcos said.

She said she would ask Trillanes to join her in dancing with the Igorots.

‘Yun na lang ang natira so kung papayag si Senator Trillanes, sasabihin ko kay Sonny makikisayaw kami du'n sa mga Igorot namin para mabendisyunan nang todo,” Marcos said.

The Igorots are one of several ethnic tribes in the Cordilleras.

Whether the Igorot dance was aimed to drive away bad spirits, Marcos did not explain.
