Evidence of Aquino, LP corruption

Proof of the pork barrel scam corruption and payolas from casino industries has surfaced and they all point to former President Benigno Aquino III and other officials during his administration who were mostly from the Liberal Party (LP).

Pastor “Boy” Saycon, secretary of the Council for Philippine Affairs (COPA) turned over on March 15, 2017 (Wednesday)  to Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre documents of the corruption of the previous administration.

The documentary evidence reveals acknowledgement receipts of Janet Lim Napoles’ donations to the 2010 election campaign of Aquino and the LP. It even contained the signature of Aquino, however Saycon claims that Aquino did not include this report in his statement of contributions and expenditures papers submitted to the Commission on Elections.

They can deny everything. Pero tanungin niyo ang giver,” Saycon said.

Besides the pork barrel scam and unreported election donations, Saycon also submitted evidence of how some LP members profited from payolas of casino industries.

"Up to the top (benefitted). And records will speak. The signatures are authenticated by experts,” said Saycon, adding that the said bribery started in 2005 but instead of stopping it, the Aquino administration allegedly continued such corruption.

"[It] all started [in] 2010 onwards. Actually, 2005 pa lang up to 2016. The Aquino admin continued instead of stopping the corruption,” Saycon explained.

He even disclosed that there was only one government official during that time who received and distributed the payolas to the Aquino officials, however Saycon did not name the official and only mentioned that the official is already retired.

Saycon had long had these documentary evidences, however, he was hesitant to submit the papers back then when Senator Leila de Lima was the DOJ Chief.

These are documents I kept a while not knowing what to do during the Aquino administration. I do not know where to file. How can I surrender it to De Lima eh ang recipient is her boss at mga kapartido n’ya?" Saycon explained.

He also clarified that his reason for exposing the issue now is not politically motivated. Instead it is a legal issue he wants to settle before he dies.

He urged the previous administration to pay beyond lip servicing vaunted reforms, and start publicizing how the pork barrel allocations were spent during Aquino’s time.
