Many people have claimed that this bloody and vicious method of the Duterte administration has led to many deaths, as well as the continuous proliferation of drugs in the country, and its illegal import.

However, for the supporters of the President and his administration, the war against drugs has only proven to be beneficial, and one has even argued that this administration is light on it, compared to other countries.

Think before you speak

Free Spits, a Facebook page of veteran journalist Ira Panganiban has taken on the Duterte haters who claim that the drug problem in the country has worsen because of the president.

In his post, Panganiban about how people said that the drug problem has worsened based on the amount of drugs that has been confiscated by the police and military.

Panganiban says that even so, it is okay because at least these drugs were confiscated and out of the streets and are unable to be used and abused by Filipino people.

Even more so, he says that this cannot be a basis to say that the drug war has worsened because these drugs were already confiscated in the first place.

He then goes on to say that people are so adamant about ruining the president and his methods that they "say whatever they want".

Fix the system

Continuing on, Panganiban says that the policies and laws of the country should be fixed. He says that laws against foreign drug syndicates should be fixed so they may not enter our country.

He then goes on to compare our laws to that of other countries where the punishment for drug trafficking is death. In the Philippines, Panganiban claims that the drug traffickers will only be deported to their country and dealt with there.

Teka, nakumpiska yung droga diba?

#syetdapwet
